Villa Garganos in Albany

The pizza was a really thin crust pizza. It was good and the atmosphere was wonderful. The place really fills up by 5 pm. and then it gets a little loud.

Excellent Italian food! One of the few places around to get veal, which is one of my favorites!

This is in Albany, GA. It was packed, but if you like garlic you won't like the food here. I was extremely disappointed.

Great food. Service is awesome. Very much a gem in Albany. Always a great go-to place for a special dinner.

The restaurant is quite famous among the locals but I along with 10 other people, we had a very bad experience. Could’ve been a one time thing idk but we got a table there at 6 and we didn’t get our food until like 8:30. Despite having waited that long, Everything we got was just bad, as if reheated. No one fully ate their food - so much wasted. The restaurant did have a lot of customers that day so that might explain the wait, but the food was straight up bad.

Try the meatballs and mozzarella. To die for! Will definitely be back when visiting Sunbelt Ford of Albany for work.

Great authentic Italian food. The service is amazing, if you can't decide on what to eat, their recommendations are on point! The only complaint I have is No Garlic Bread and Dipping Oil!

What more could I say than what has already been said. The baked macaroni is amazing! Servings are generous. My plate could have probably fed two people. If you haven't visited Villa Gargano you're missing out!

Pizza was very good. Had a Garganos special salad and it was very good also.

Although it will never be able to replace the original Gargano's in East Albany, this is a pretty good place. The staff is nice, not outgoing, but nice and the food is good. I love the Gargano's special salad with salami

Struggling restaurant, average food with excessive wait time for food and mixed service from staff. We stopped here based on the reviews. We like to support local restaurants. Looking at the reviews it's apparent that there has been a decline since earlier this year. The staff was a male waiter that seemed pleasant but overwhelmed. The food took over 1hour 10 min after placing order. The food was o.k. at best. We had chicken marsala, & manicotti. The worst of the experience was the cashier. She was not working with anyone when we entered. We were not greeted until I ask about seating. She referred us to a very young man that appeared to be new at seating customers. He just asked how many people. When I paid the check, the same cashier failed to ask how was our meal or make any eye contact. She just remained gazing at the register and stated the amount owed. If a restaurant ever needed a makeover, this is the place.

Long wait but food great

Great food, friendly and attentive service. Pizza kitchen was shut down so all orders were going through regular kitchen, so it took a long time to get our food and we were late for our event.

Top choice for Italian in Albany,GA and surrounding area. Wish they would re-open, even if it was limited days/hours and delivery only. I'm seriously jonsen for one of their loaded chicken cheesesteaks!

Go early! It's a very small restaurant. And there are only 2 tables that accomodate 6 or more. We waited 30 minutes to seat 6 people. The staff is extremely friendly! And management was wonderful. Very popular place.

This restaurant could be a really nice Italian place but they need help in several areas. Recipes need tweaking, plating is way off, employees being worked inefficiently, management needs some directions, and the place needs basic cleaning. We had to wait for a very long time for less than mediocre food. Probably will not be back unless things are improved greatly. Shame because it has a good atmosphere but that is all.

It's a nice place, good atmosphere, but I think they we're short staffed the last time we were there, this past weekend. It took so long to get our food. I became a bit frustrated before we were able to pay and leave.

The service is fast and friendly. Food tastes good, portions are large. I drove past this restaurant for years. I regret not stopping in earlier.

I came here for a guest who requested Veal Parmesan. I was told this would be ready in 30 min. I WAITED AN HOUR AND A HALF!!!!!! When I asked the manager could he give some sort of discount for my guest who was waiting, he said no. Not even comp off the drink!! Once I arrived back to my property, the guest had no silverware in his bag. If I could give this place a zero I would. Horrible customer service. Never sending anyone here. Never going back.

Someone told me they had really good pizza..... someone lied to me. The $5 frozen pizza at walmart is miles better than this, even Little Caesars is way better, this is just flavored flimsy cardboard. Garlic bread comes out as toast. Chicken Alfredo was actually really good. But we waited an hour and a half with the place about 70% full of people.

Delizioso! Great food and atmosphere. My 3 year old loved the spaghetti and they were so sweet to him!

I had the opportunity to come here while on a work trip. Ambiance is a bit on the dark side but comfortable. Very good appetizers (we had the stuffed mushrooms, fried ravioli, and mozzarella sticks). For my entree, I order the Chicken Marsala; tasty and not salty. Dessert you ask? Cannoli, of course!
